Our Compliance Program
We work diligently to ensure compliance with the laws of Equatorial Guinea and our governance obligations, both internally and with respect to our Shareholders and Board of Directors. As part of such efforts: 1) EG LNG operates with a high degree of integrity and takes compliance with laws (including Anti-Corruption Laws) and our Code of Conduct very seriously. 2) EG LNG constantly works to ensure that company policies and internal procedures are aligned with all applicable domestic and international laws/regulations. 3) EGLNG highly values professionalism, and we strive to show that in all our dealings.
Our Business Integrity
It is important to reflect on how our core values have served us over the past years and how they have underpinned our actions and many successes. Among these core values are ethics and integrity, and in today's environment, it is critical that all of our business decisions are aligned with our Code of Business Conduct. Our Company's ability to compete successfully in the marketplace is dependent upon our image and reputation. The strength of our reputation, developed through our longstanding commitment to integrity, has been critical to our past successes and will continue to serve us in the future. An important part of our ethics program is the annual Code of Business Conduct Questionnaire. This remains employees of the value the Company places on ethical business conduct, as well as a formal mechanism for employees to disclose any situations that may create, or have the appearance of creating, a conflict of interest or other situation that does not meet the Company's standards for business conduct.
